Day in Duluth

We dropped Carson off at a youth activity on Saturday and then drove to Enger Tower and the lookout far above the city. Leah and Colby used to run cross country at a golf course next to the tower. It had lots of hills, and it was always terrible weather for them. The team would visit the tower and climb to the top when they weren't running.

We shopped at a mall, ate lunch, and then took Leah (our returned missionary, haha) to a historic brewery on Lake Superior, Fitger’s, that’s been turned into a hotel and shops and restaurant. The inside of the building is so neat and old.

Bob Dylan was born in Duluth and lived there for 6 years before being raised in another Minnesota town. In Fitger's brewery we found a Bob Dylan display.

Then we walked the boardwalk along Lake Superior towards the harbor.

This was an interesting scene on our drive home. The heat was intense and we could feel it in our car as we drove by. There were so many emergency vehicles starting to show up at the time we came upon this car. Crazy.
