First you smell one hundred scents and write down your favorites. I had no idea there are so many good smells in the world.
Next you pick what you want to make and the container. We chose candles and fragrance mists, but other options were lotions, diffusers, and sugar scrubs.
You consult with the employees who look at your list, group certain scents, and advise which ones would go well together depending on the outcome you want. I named my candle “Cozy” and it's a mix of pumpkin soufflé, honeycrisp apple, sweater weather, and vanilla bean.
Then you slowly mix the scents and keep smelling until it's what you want.
