Second Week

The theme of my week was work, work, work. And chronic migraines. And salads for my work lunch everyday. Paige made these tasty ones for me.

Flowers to brighten our cloudy winter days.

Paige got her hair cut into a different pixie style, having fun with it before she grows it back out.

There’s been some resistance to taking Christmas decorations down, but enough is enough. Christmas is over, therefore decorations are done.

Carson is the sunshine in the blue sky of someone’s heart around here.

Paige and Dan labored over their 2nd annual apple pie. Delicious.

I read a sad historical fiction book about WWII in Poland, and I will always hate war…past and current. We watched movies and played games. We played an online game a few times with Leah and her roommate who were maybe avoiding homework. Pickleball and volleyball happened. Carson worked some basketball games, and Paige and I went to one to watch him DJ the music and put advertisements on the Jumbotron. Lastly, our unusual mild weather has ended, throwing us into extreme cold wind chills this weekend and making Colby seriously consider moving up the June start date of his job offer in Arizona.
