Besides state parks, Colby really likes walking around river towns. Stillwater is one of his favorite places. On his last full day here, Colby, Paige, and I wandered all over Stillwater, across the St. Croix River on a lift bridge to Wisconsin and back, ordered a delicious meal and ate it at a picnic table, and shopped interesting stores and antiques. The only downside was the sweltering 95-degree weather and wild wind.
