Carson tells me Dan created it moments before driving to the airport to pick me up. I don’t understand. But then he still kept it for a full week. Some people congratulated him on it, telling him they were envious. Some people laughed outright and teased when they saw him. Some people even thought it was fake. On Sunday he asked me if he should shave it off (like he didn’t already know my answer), and I told him no, he should keep it longer, wear it in public more, and learn his lesson to never grow one again. But he shaved it. Phew.
