Old Tucson is where lots of western movies have been filmed. We haven't watched most of those movies, but here are some costumes from Little House on the Prairie which was partially filmed here -- I think the scenes where they go to Mankato.
At Christmas Old Tucson is all lit up with Christmas lights.
We watched a light show on this building which was used in Three Amigos. We went home and rewatched the movie to see what looked familiar.
Besides walking around the town and watching some acting/singing shows, there are lots of rides and a petting zoo and things like that. Very touristy. It was too young for our family, but we did it all anyway and had fun. Our favorite was a haunted mine and the actors who kept jumping out to scare us. We screamed and then they followed us through the dark halls.
